I recently finished a presentation for my networking class that designs a system for a small 150 emp company that showcases the router/ switch configurations and concepts that we are learning for the CCENT examination that I plan to take this summer. The system I designed and implemented on a Packet Tracer project features a number of functionalities:

• VLSM for IPV4 network 192.168.0.0/16
• IPv6 network addressing
• DHCP
• NAT
• 14 VLANs, trunking and router on a stick
• Dynamic port security including violation mode restrict, max addr 2 and sticky mac address
• SSH version 2 on VTY lines with restricted management access
• ACL access restriction to EXEC and ACCT pcs
• DNS, TFTP, FTP, Syslog and HTTP services
• Floating Static Route
• Dynamic RIPv2 and RIPng
• ———————————-
